The Integrated Clinical Council (ICC) at Hurley Medical Center is a highly visible staff nurse clinical leadership group that empowers nurses and serves as a resource for professional nursing practices. In support of Hurley’s mission, “Clinical Excellence, Service to People,” the ICC supports the compassionate delivery of Patient and Family Centered Care. The ICC also represents nurses throughout the medical center by improving hospital-wide communication and advocating for nursing staff. The ICC membership joins Nursing Leadership in developing annual goals and objectives for Patient Care Services.
Goals of the Integrated Clinical Council
The Integrated Clinical Council group members populate several performance teams charged with using best practices and the evidence to improve in key nursing outcomes. Teams focus on restraint compliance, skin integrity, fall reduction, pain management, and nursing policy and procedures.
